The Tree-mendous Talks and Walks are a series of educational walks throughout the spring and summer to appreciate our local trees. The Talks and Walks are free and open to the public.
The first in our series:
Winter Tree ID at Connon Nurseries. Our Tree experts, Dan and Greg will be leading us thru the Nursery pointing out how to ID trees in the winter. After the talk join us inside at Connon’s for hot chocolate and a $10 dollar certificate to help you buy your garden needs this year.
Upcoming Tree Talks:
May 27, Clifford “Sonny” Belch Park where we will walk thru Quinte Field Naturalists Tree Plantings with over 100 native trees plus shrubs and pollinator flowers.
June TBD we will be touring a property on Hamilton Road which has over 100 trees and some rare specimens with Stephen Poole
July TBD we will be touring with Rowland Cave-Browne-Cave through Belleville’s East Hill and ending at the Corby Rose Garden
