Welcome to QFN’s Tree Planting Page
QFN partners with other community organizations in planting NATIVE trees, shrubs and wildflowers to provide habitat and food for wildlife. These plantings in our urban spaces will provide shelter and food for songbirds, mammals and insects too numerous to count. The caterpillars of monarchs and other butterflies need plants to eat. Songbirds need caterpillars to feed their young. Pollinators need native flowers. Every planting supports this web of life. Trees & flowers make people happy too!
In the last 4 years QFN has planted 500 Trees, 700 shrubs and over 3,000 wildflowers! That’s $66,000 worth of planting, and all native!
